"Uh-huh," she breathes out, already pressing her face to the side of his neck. Her eyes close in eager anticipation, wetting her lips and swallowing heavily.
She does take the time to whisper in his ear.
"God, James, I want you," she exhales, clutching at his shirt.
He wraps her up securely with one arm, moving intently with the other to undo her jeans. Once her underwear is pushed down, he dips his fingers in to touch her, letting his thumb slide against her clit as he presses kisses to her neck.
He's trying to be so careful, not wanting to hurt her, but he's reassured by her grunts of pleasure. "I got ya, baby," he urges, kissing her neck again, wanting her to let go for him.
It doesn't take long after that, his words and his touch both completely undoing her. She gasps and jerks in his arms, choking on a cry she wants to let go of but can't.
Chest heaving, she shudders in residual pleasure as it ebbs and flows, going slack in his arms.
He presses a few tender kisses to her temple, breathing her in. "You good, sweetheart?" He has to know that first, before anything else. He needs to make sure she's not in any terrible pain.
"That isn't very fair to you," she points out, unable to help that small swell of panic that she's getting too much without giving anything in return to him.
She can't help it, biting at her bottom lip softly.
No one's ever belonged to him like this, and vice versa. Every new thing with Juliet is something he never knew he wanted or needed, but it's absolutely perfect. He kisses her deeply, inviting her in a little more until they're both breathless.
She grins as she catches her breath, then rakes her fingers through his hair slowly as she pulls back.
"I've never been someone's before, not like this," she says quietly between them, not realizing she's echoing his thoughts.
Juliet had been considered Ben's property, he'd shaped her, taken away parts and added things in. But it was never out of love. James is giving all her pieces back, each part a little bit better now because of him.
She's putting him back together, too, though he doesn't exactly know how to articulate that. Still, all that matters to him is that Juliet is cared for and loved, and he'll make damn sure of it. "I'm gonna take care of you, Juliet."
No one's ever wanted him to just be himself. No one's ever let him. He wasn't even sure, for most of his life, who he even was. But from the beginning, Juliet's never asked more from him than who he is, and she gives him the space to learn who he wants to be. It means so much, and it makes him love her more.
"Let me walk you back," he urges, carefully standing with her and taking her hand.
He smirks a little darkly, letting out a sigh. "Well, alright then, guess I ain't needed."
He knows she can, they both know it, but he'll still be watching to make sure she gets inside safely before he goes back in. Still, he has to steal another kiss before he can let her go.
"Absolute fact," she promises, then kisses him one more time goodnight before she heads home. Once she's in, she strips to nothing and crawls into bed, pulling his pillow close.
She was right, he did make her warm and drowsy, and before she can conjure up his face to fall asleep to, she's gone, still curled around his pillow, asleep on his side of the bed.

"James," she manages, clutching at the back of his head. This is so new, just being touched with no expectations in return.
"I'm...oh."
She's so close, forehead furrowing in concentration.

Then, her hand cups him through his jumpsuit, not surprised at what she finds there.
"What about you?"

"You still have to finish your sandwich. I took up your break," she realizes sheepishly.

"I want people to know, James," she murmurs. "I don't care who knows."
As if everyone doesn't assume it already.

And she's happy to let him do it.

"All you have to do, is exactly what you've been doing." Just being himself, no one else. James, as he is, is who she's falling in love with.
Her forehead presses to his, nose grazing along his for a moment.
"I shouldn't keep you," she murmurs. "And maybe, thanks to you, I'm a little drowsy now."

"Let me walk you back," he urges, carefully standing with her and taking her hand.

"I'll be fine. I survived in this neighborhood after the mass murder, remember? I can make it during the peaceful Hippie era."
It's a joke, and her lips turn up in a smirk, amused at herself

"You're needed. I'll always need you."
Just not this way, not right now.
