"That isn't very fair to you," she points out, unable to help that small swell of panic that she's getting too much without giving anything in return to him.

She can't help it, biting at her bottom lip softly.

At some point, she'll make it up to him, she knows. For now, she kisses him softly, humming into his mouth.

"You still have to finish your sandwich. I took up your break," she realizes sheepishly.

"You knew what you were doin'," he teases her softly, kissing the side of her neck as he cradles her close.

It may have been clear in the past few weeks, and especially after this outdoors--late as it is. But she still feels compelled to say it.

"I want people to know, James," she murmurs. "I don't care who knows."

As if everyone doesn't assume it already.

There's an audible hum in the back of his throat, and he smiles at her. "Say it again, but kiss me this time."

"I want everyone to know I'm yours," she breathes out before kissing him so deeply that he steals away all the air in her lungs.

And she's happy to let him do it.

No one's ever belonged to him like this, and vice versa. Every new thing with Juliet is something he never knew he wanted or needed, but it's absolutely perfect. He kisses her deeply, inviting her in a little more until they're both breathless.

"And I'm all yours, baby."

She grins as she catches her breath, then rakes her fingers through his hair slowly as she pulls back.

"I've never been someone's before, not like this," she says quietly between them, not realizing she's echoing his thoughts.

Juliet had been considered Ben's property, he'd shaped her, taken away parts and added things in. But it was never out of love. James is giving all her pieces back, each part a little bit better now because of him.
