She's never simply been taken care of this way, touched for the sake of being touched. Juliet soaks it up now, closing her eyes and trying to anticipate where the next touch is going to be.

Never in her life has she felt so vulnerable, naked under someone in the bright light of day, but here she is with James, eager for him, for more. Slowly, her fingers drag up and down his arms, loving the feel of this person wanting her.

"I like it when you call me that," she whispers, raising her head just enough to capture his lips with her own.

For a moment, he lingers in that kiss, humming against her mouth. "What else you like?" He asks with a grin, now moving his fingers ever closer to her, just barely touching, but close enough to feel how wet she still is.

Juliet gasps softly, bottom lip being pulled between her teeth.

This is the first time anyone's ever asked her, and she can't even say she's sure.

"That," she manages, and without much more hesitation, her legs part fully for him, vulnerable, terrified but wanting him more than she's afraid of this.

He can tell just by looking at her, by the tone in her voice, that no one's ever taken care of her like this. But he knows in his heart that he always will, even if it's damn terrifying. Knowing she's terrified, too, makes it easier somehow.

Leaning in, his lips press to her shoulder, then her neck, as his fingers dip in to touch her.

He's never just touched a woman like this before; he was only ever in it for himself, too. But with Juliet, all he wants to do is take care of her.

One arm hooks around his neck as he touches her and her back arches. She's never been the focus like this; she's been the obligation to a husband that didn't want her, the mistress of someone who wanted to get off and found the loneliest, saddest woman on the island dumb enough to do it.

Jack isn't even worth thinking of.

She had no idea that feeling wanted would be like this, her hands clutching at James as he builds her pleasure, stoking the heat in her belly until she can't help but cry out, pushing herself into his touch, unashamedly seeking more friction. His name falls from her lips, and the second time she tries to say it, all that comes is Ja-- before she shatters.

Her hands are clinging to him to stay grounded, chest heaving as her breath falls against his neck while she pants.

This is the best damn feeling in the world, this right here; touching her, loving her in ways he didn't know he could ever love anyone. She's made him realize that his heart really does work, and that buried down deep inside his the man he wants to be. Through her words, her touch, the very heart and soul of her, she's pulling him out of the darkness and into the light.

All he ever wants to do is love her and make her proud.

His eyes are glued to her as she climaxes and relaxes, and then he grins as he leans in to press a lingering kiss to her neck.

He's still holding her, still showering her with affection, and it's too much. She's overwhelmed in the best possible way, and tears fall warm against his shoulder. There's no outright sobbing, no hysterics. But Christ, she's so happy there was nothing else to do for it.

When she finally pulls back, tears drying on her cheeks, she smiles up at him, touching his face almost reverently.

"This is what I want. You. Us."

It's another thing that's so new to him, to be responsible for this depth of emotion in someone. Feeling such an enormous sense of responsibility for someone else's happiness would have scared him off not so long ago; it still terrifies him on some level, but he knows he'd also never want anything else.

"You got me, Blondie," he promises, stroking his thumb across her temple tenderly.

Her lips press to his forehead, then his temple, and finally, his lips. She could kiss him forever and leisures in it, taking her time to taste and explore. It's so new and perfect, and she doesn't even think about it when, almost twenty minutes later, her legs wind around his hips and she presses him close.

All the while, her mouth never seems to leave his.

He tangles with her in return, letting his hand roam downward to cup against her ass. He just needs to be touching every part of her, never able to get close enough.

"Can't get enough of ya," he breathes out, knowing she feels the same way, of course. Pausing for only a moment, he thrusts into her, groaning as their bodies join so perfectly.

She lets out a soft breath and holds him as close as she can, clinging to him. Her hands move, fingers in his hair.

Juliet loves him, she knows she does, and she isn't sure why it's so easy to put her heart in his hands, but there it is. She loves him slowly, body moving with his, the moment slow and tender, her lips capturing his until she can't because she's too close to falling apart.

"James," she whispers, wrapped around him as though trying to fuse their bodies together.

He grunts in response to her husky whisper of his name, pressing even closer, rocking slowly and steadily with her. He knows he loves her, too, and he's in absolutely no rush for once. He's never wanted to take his time before, but he does now. He wants to feel every part of her, learn every part of her. Holding her steady against him, his other hand comes to rest on the back of her head.

This time when she falls apart, it's quiet but no less intense as her body tightens around him, pulling him in, her face buried against his neck.

Nothing has ever been this easy in her life, and God, she doesn't want it to end.

He has to thrust once, then twice more, before he's right there with her. Pressing a tender kiss to her collarbone, he stays right there, not moving as his arms tighten around her with a broad smile.

"Juliet?"

She makes a soft noise in the back of her throat, slowly relaxing against his arms.

"Hmm?" she asks softly, taking a deep breath and letting it out against his neck. Her hands move up and down his sides slowly, pressing a kiss to his chest.

[complexguy]

"Crazy about you," he smiles at her, caressing the broad expanse of her back, just loving that sensation of her bare skin.

[dharmalady]

She smiles so widely at that, reaching out to push his hair back and behind her ears.

"Pretty crazy about you too, LaFleur," she grins, shivering in pleasure and pressing her lips to his chest.

"I got distracted. Home, now?"

[complexguy]

"Can't say I blame ya," he grins, gently tipping her head back so he can kiss her lips, over and over again, then her forehead. "Guess we oughta head on back." He still hasn't moved, though.

She realizes it when the sun begins to set and a cooler breeze drifts over them

Juliet hums and smiles, nuzzling his neck.

"How is it the whole day passed?" she murmurs, so damn content out here.

[complexguy]

"Goes by fast when you're with your favorite person around," he grins, teasing her with a smile.

[dharmalady]

"Favorite, huh?" she asks with a laugh, finally sitting up. Both of them look nice and golden from the sun but not burnt.

"How about a shower with your favorite person?" she asks with a grin. "Then supper, then more of this but in bed."

"You know how to get a guy goin'," he grins back at her, leaning in to kiss her shoulder when he sits up with her.

[dharmalady]

Pushing a hand through her hair, she smiles at him serenely, then hums as she kisses him before standing, reaching for her clothes and tugging them on.

Then, once they're on their way back, she reaches for his hand, tangling their fingers together.

"Gotta tell you something..." He looks down at their joined hands, squeezing her fingers. "Never just held anyone's hand like this before."

It seems a little ridiculous saying it out loud like this-a little corny-but he likes it.

Juliet looks at him, and she smiles so hard that her eyes crinkle at the corners.

"Me either." She swings their hands a little between them, but before they get to the barracks, she lets go and looks up at him.

"I want this to just be...us. It's new and..." She hopes that he understands what she means. She just wants this to be their own new thing for a while. "Is that okay? If we don't tell anyone?"
